Greatest American hero Charles Ramsey has been in all of our lives for something like 36 hours now and the fascination with him doesn’t seem to be letting up any time soon: his interview last night with Anderson Cooper is the interview to end all interviews — impossibly honest while being alternately hilarious and poignant at the same time. And of course we’ve all been waiting for a great autotune version of the interview that made him famous to surface, but so far only pretenders have emerged. Until now.
Yes, the Gregory Brothers — the undisputed kings of the autotune — have dropped their version of the Ramsey interview, and it does not disappoint. Everyone else can go home now. Enjoy.
That’s the one I’ve been waiting for.
Superior.
Auto tuning is still a thing?
Yes, and when done properly like the example above, it is GLORIOUS!
Meh. I’ll pass.
You know, you can also pass on commenting about things that you’re too cool for. It’s possible.
Hey now, this is a fair and balanced blog. It even says so overthe-.. err, right he-… nevermind.
@Funke – but then how would everyone know how much of a smug douche you are?
Bright blue shirts tend to be a dead give away.
@ Funke Is passing on commenting about things you’re too cool for still a thing? I was doing it way before it was cool.
yeah, this is definitely not my thing and not entirely sure why it’s a thing….
There are things that are things and things that are not things, you need to know both these things
This sounds like a Lou Rawls song.
Goddamn, I am sick of this “response” to sensational news stories these days.
This is great. I’m glad to see the comments here are in favor, as some other sites have some pretty depressing comment sections in regards to this right now.
Hilarious! Charles Ramsey what a HERO!
simply fantastic. I was waiting for this to drop. Now, I’d like to see a mash-up of this, Antoine, and Sweet Brown. And that would STILL be better than half the crap on the radio.
Its hip, its got a funky beat, and I can bug out to it!
Yes. Oh god yes.
Are we sure this is not just another chapter of R. Kelly’s “Trapped in the Closet” series?
These Gregory Bros are even less creative than Seltzer and Friedberg.
Great song, but Charles Ramsey had at least 3 past hits. Just ask his ex-wife.

Friggin’ genius. The song should be sold on iTunes and the profits donated to the families.
