In a bid to stay relevant, Charlie Sheen is now publicly proclaiming his admiration for Donald Trump. This came after the actor bashed Trump on Twitter last month. TheWrap reports that Sheen felt compelled to throw his hat into the ring after Owen Wilson compared Donald Trump’s campaign strategy to Charlie Sheen’s infamous meltdown that got him fired from Two and a Half Men.
Here’s Owen Wilson’s quote, from The Daily Beast, where he explains that people love Trump because his answers are never rote:
“It’s like when Charlie Sheen was doing that stuff—like, wow! He’s answering a question completely honestly, and in an entertaining way. You sort of feel he could be a character from Network.”
Oh no, Owen! Not that you’re wrong or anything, but when you praise people like Donald Trump and Charlie Sheen like that out loud, they take it seriously. Or maybe Sheen is trying to be funny? Anyway, here’s his reply:
