The big fancy official all-LEGO episode of The Simpsons doesn’t premiere until May, but if you can’t wait that long to see Homer, Marge, et al rendered in tiny rectangular block form, I have excellent news for you: The maniacs over at BrickFun have taken the recently released Simpsons LEGO collections and created their own stop-motion version of the show’s famous couch gag. I’ll let BrickFun explain:
It’s The Simpsons meets The LEGO Movie in this series of couch gag made in stop motion using only LEGO bricks and minifigs.
Well that’s, uh, not a very extensive explanation. But the video is still pretty cool. Maybe they just wasted all their energy making this video — which also contains a LEGO Movie couch gag, fyi — and were totally spent when it came time to write something up. I can respect that. Now let’s get them to do one of these of the Red Wedding or THE THING from the first episode of this season of House of Cards that I’m probably not able to bring up without getting yelled at about spoilers. I could go for a little LEGO carnage.
