So this is pretty cool. It turns out that at the end of each episode of FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, after the credits, there’s a backwards-talk hidden message that changes every season. This video plays some of the messages forward and backward to illustrate this, but it doesn’t feature the message from the most recent season because it is actually almost two years old and is only gaining traction on the Internet right now because of this Reddit thread.
So, to recap: This is something that has been happening since 2005, on a show we cover pretty extensively, that was pointed out, compiled, and posted on the Internet — the place where we work and exist — in 2011, and we are just now bringing it to your attention on a slow Friday in May of 2013. We are great at our jobs. You are all very welcome.
