Chris O’Dowd — best known for his role as Roy Trenneman on The IT Crowd — visited Conan last night and let everyone in on a prank he recently started playing on his 15-week-old son. Not only has he been literally putting his baby in the hands of strangers, he’s been keeping his intricate plan a secret from his wife.
Hopefully 10 or 15 years down the line, this joke will pay off leaving the boy in a state of frustrated confusion. What’s more hilarious than hearing about the prank, though, is watching O’Dowd struggle to contain his composure while walking everyone through the cruel details.
Bravo, man. Bravo.
