They got almost everybody to turn out and bid farewell to Stephen Colbert and The Colbert Report. I’m fairly sure it was every guest to ever grace the stage, including a few of Colbert’s long running characters, Ric Ocasek, Jon Stewart, and a whole host of others.
They all came together to sing a rendition of “We’ll Meet Again” made famous by Vera Lynn, something you’ve probably heard if you’ve seen Dr. Strangelove at some point in your life. It’s an awesome television moment and it’s going to be a lot of fun piecing through who all the guests were. I kept up at first, but it started to pile up on me. Enjoy.
