Who knew people would be so uncomfortable with commercials about dead kids during a violent sports event? There’s a reason they keep it to beer and dick pills during the regular season, so maybe they oughta bring the Budweiser frogs out of retirement next year. Just don’t kill any of them.
Nationwide wasn’t alone in the depressing commercial game on Sunday, especially if you live in St. Louis. Conan went searching for the MOST depressing ad from yesterday’s game (depressing as in sad, not pathetic) and managed to find one. I won’t spoil the surprise, but it hits at the pointlessness of existence with just the right tone.
