When season one of Marvel’s Daredevil premiered earlier this year, it brought with it a massive influx of new subscribers to Netflix. With AKA Jessica Jones set to premiere later this year and a new season of Daredevil already revving up, it looks like production on the new episodes has officially begun.
With the hot fire that is Jon Bernthal’s recent casting announcement, the hype behind the show may have caused Netflix to jump the gun on filming, as rumor had production beginning in a month or two. Thanks to photographer Shelly Kay and GRLALMIGHTYZINE, we have the first set photos from what is now being referred to as “Daredevil Vs. Punisher.”

The above photos find our intrepid heroes Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson back on the streets of Hell’s Kitchen. Also returning for the sophomore season are Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll).
There is no word yet if Wilson Fisk will make an appearance in the new episodes, but given some of the storylines from the Punisher books Jon Bernthal has been reading up on, one can speculate we’ll see more Vincent D’Onofrio at his bald sinister best sometime down the line.
