After a ridiculously long wait, an NBC Must See TV staple is finally getting its streaming due. (No, it’s not Madman of the People.)
For the first time ever, the groundbreaking medical drama ER is completely available on Hulu. Starting today, all 331 episodes can be viewed on the service and Hulu’s video spot trumpeting the program’s arrival serves as one hell of a reminder that County General Hospital saw a lot of familiar faces serving as medical personnel. The news is also accompanied by Hulu making a fuss about their Catch-22 limited series event from George Clooney, Paramount Television and Anonymous Content. Speaking of Clooney, he offered a warm endorsement of ER getting a proper home for binge-watching.
“It was such an honor to be a part of this show. I was lucky to have worked with so many writers, actors and directors all at the top of their game,” said Clooney. “Most importantly I’ve made friends for a lifetime. I’m excited it will finally be streaming on Hulu.”
The streaming pact with Warner Bros. Television was revealed during a busy Sunday for Hulu announcements. Among other things, Hulu showcased their first teaser trailer for Season 2 of The Handmaid’s Tale and provided the date the series will return.
