Marco Gutierrez has made quite the name for himself by supporting Donald Trump in his presidential bid. Gutierrez is the man behind Latinos For Trump and garnered the spotlight a few weeks back by warning America about those dastardly taco trucks on every corner. It didn’t garner the type of response he likely expected, but that isn’t the only confusing thing about Gutierrez and his loud support of the Republican candidate for president.
Samantha Bee had the Full Frontal team head out to the Latinos For Trump founder’s home to find out a bit about his background and life, finding that the guy is full of the stuff. They made note that there isn’t enough time to cover all of the wonderful, colorful things he has going on in his house — fake money in a glass class, a “disco” bible, a floating pool being highlights. The reason is because Gutierrez’s support of Trump and his own professional background actually take attention away from those things.
He’s more than just the guy who claimed we’d have taco trucks on every corner. He’s also the guy who thinks that Hispanics are a primitive people, rails against illegal immigrants while having parents who were illegals themselves, and supports Donald Trump while being not entirely sure the entire campaign is a ruse. That last part is telling because he uses the saying that a fisherman can see another fisherman from afar and it comes after Full Frontal showcases some of the shady business practices Gutierrez has been accused of in the past, leading to the loss of his mortgage license and several lawsuits.
Mixed in with all of this and Gutierrez claiming to want to be governor of California, he also manages to compare Donald Trump to Jesus Christ. So yeah, he’s far more entertaining than just warning us about taco trucks on every corner.
