There’s really nothing to say about Guillermo del Toro’s couch gag for The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXIV other than it’s a gosh dang masterpiece. My favorite part is Carl turning into Blade, as that made me laugh harder than I should admit, but everything else about this opening is just flat out perfect. I don’t even need to watch the entire episode when it airs on Sunday night. I will, of course, but I don’t need to, because del Toro absolutely killed this.
