Yesterday, millions of Trader Joe’s wine club members quivered in unison at the news that Sons of Anarchy‘s Charlie Hunnam and Ben and Kate‘s Dakota Johnson will be playing Christian and What’s-Her-Name in 50 Shades of Grey: The Movie, now with extra shade. Who better to play a BDSM freak and his submissive girlfriend than a bike gang leader and the quirky daughter of Don Johnson? Matt Bomer and Rory Gilmore, apparently.
There is an important Change.org petition with thousands and thousands of supporters asking for “Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele: We want Matt and Alexis on 50 Shades.” Bomer is, of course, the star of White Collar, while Bledel has Pete Campbell for a husband. Hasn’t she suffered enough?
