Leading up to Dave Letterman’s departure, he received the overwhelming support and gratitude from his peers in the late night industry. Nearly everyone had kind words to share about the legendary host, from Jimmy Kimmel, who wished his idol a tearful farewell; to Conan, who graciously thanked Dave for his career (and later insisted that viewers flip channels); and even Jimmy Fallon, who reminisced about watching The Late Show.
So, it’s only fitting that following the final Late Show on Wednesday night, James Corden, whose Late Late Show followed Letterman, paid tribute to his lead-in by reading down the Top 10 Things We’ll Miss about David Letterman. I have to say, as far as top 10 lists go, it’s a solid one.
