To be fair to James Franco, the rules kept changing every time he was supposed to answer in Jimmy Fallon’s game of ‘5-second summaries.’ The rules made perfect sense, but they weren’t explained properly and led to disaster.
Jimmy Fallon not being able to name the movie Cast Away is even worse. It’s like the quiz show scandals and Fallon is Herb Stempel. Everyone in America knows the movie, even without the aid of the title being on the screen, but he just doesn’t want to get it. At least Franco got Pineapple Express.
