There comes a time in every popular late night show host’s life when it’s time to head off into the sunset and play with their collection of classic cars. Sure, Jay Leno may have left the Tonight Show originally to sail off into that sunset only to return and force the new host, Conan O’Brien out of his slot and into the loving arms of TBS, but eventually Leno did retire. Of course, someone like Leno needs more to do than simply tend to his crazy car collection, so he has Jay Leno’s Garage, a show all about cars and his love for them.
In an episode that is set to air on June 29th Jay Leno climbs into a 2,500 horse power car with one of his heroes, Bob Riggle, reports The Wrap. They were going to do some stunts in the car, mostly test out the crazy engine and be prepared for the car to be up on two wheels for a part of the time when Riggle lost control of the vehicle and it flipped over numerous times while himself and Leno were in the car.
The whole, crazy incident was caught on camera and you can see that everyone was alright from the crash. It was probably a bit more excitement than they were expected on Jay Leno’s Garage, but should make for some interesting television.
