Jennifer Lawrence’s First Role Was In A Promo For MTV’s ‘My Super Sweet 16’

I guess we should talk about the SAG Awards. People and shows we like won, so yay? 30 Rock, snubbed by the prom king and queen named Emmy and Golden Globes, got lucky with the horny middle-aged guidance counselor and took home SAG statues for Actor (Alec Baldwin) and Actress (Tina Fey) in a Comedy Series, while Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston and Homeland‘s Claire Danes scary-faced and cry-faced their way to Actor and Actress in a Drama Series. Downton Abbey won Drama Series Ensemble, and Modern Family, Comedy Series Ensemble.

Tina Fey’s acceptance speech was one of the very few highlights:

Indeed. But the real reason I’m writing about approximately the 17th most important awards show out there, bookended by the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and the Catfish Noodling Royal Honors, is that during Jennifer Lawrence’s Best Actress acceptance speech for Silver Linings Playbook, she mentioned that the role that got her a SAG card was a promo for MTV’s My Super Sweet 16, that terrible show about terrible people doing terrible things.
