Is there a cooler sounding weather term than “Thundersnow”? It sounds like a punishment handed down from the sky Gods and it’s exceptionally rare. That’s why the Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore felt a rush of excitement and the need to jump up and down like he won the Super Bowl when he witnessed this furious sounding weather unicorn. Unfortunately, all we can see is a quick flash of white and then the art of movement as interpreted by Jim Cantore, but I’m not in a rush to go out in the middle of a blizzard to see “Thundersnow” for myself.
