There have been a lot of bad hosts of Saturday Night Live over the years, and more often than not, they fall into the category of people who don’t act for a living (Michael Phelps, Tom Brady), can’t act (Steven Seagal, Paris Hilton, Andrew Dice Clay), or are just really bad at sketch comedy (Adrian Brody, Lindsay Lohan). But even the terrible hosts seem to be able to show some enthusiasm for their Saturday Night Live promos. Justin Bieber? Not so much.
Bieber is set to host and be the musical guest this weekend, because God is cruel, perverted, angry, and a little on the insane side, particular on the weekends when he just feels like f*cking with us. The promos for the show have been released, and if Bieber’s cue-card reading FOR THE PROMOS are any indication of how this weekend’s show will go, I think we’re going to be in for a long night. If it’s going to be a train wreck, I hope it’s at least a fun train wreck. Not that it will matter: The kid’s legion of soft-brained fans will probably make it the highest-rated SNL of the year.
