When I woke up this morning, I didn’t think I’d write about two pseudo-celebrities who got famous when they were underage girls scantily posing on the covers of magazines, but it’s like my mom says, “I’m so disappointed.” Luckily, this one’s less rage-inducing than our girl Courtney. Remember the curly-haired moppet from 7th Heaven, Ruthie Camden, who made Shirley Temple look like a pile of garbage? Well, the actress who played her, Mackenzie Rosman, is all grown up and will soon appear in Maxim, now a homeless shelter for 1990s TV stars.
She was so excited about the shoot she even tweeted about it, saying, “I caved…just wrapped a #Maxim photo shoot.” After checking out the candid pic photographer Carlos Nunez shared on his Instagram account, we think it’s safe to say Ruthie is all grown up. The 23-year-old seems to be taking a page out of her former 7th Heaven co-star Jessica Biel’s handbook, who famously posed topless for Gear magazine while still on the show and caused a whole lotta controversy. What has Rosman been doing since 7th Heaven went off the air in 2007? According to her IMDb, she appeared in four episodes of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, something called Fading of the Cries, and that’s about it. Guess it’s about time Hollywood remakes Summer Catch. /cue the dramatic music
