The L.A. Complex (The CW) – Second season premiere. Wait, what? The first season of this show premiered IN APRIL and received literally THE WORST RATINGS EVER, and its SECOND SEASON is starting THREE MONTHS LATER? The CW is a strange place.
Wipeout (ABC) – Sometimes I act like I’m above this show, but then I see a commercial where a big fat guy who’s covered in mud bounces off a giant red ball and splashes second-chin-first into a pool of murky water and I laugh and laugh and laugh. I’m OK with it.
Rizzoli & Isles/Franklin & Bash (TNT) – Tonight on Rizzoli & Isles, they investigate the murder of a husband and wife psychiatry team. In other news, I miss CSI: Miami puns.
White Collar/Covert Affairs (USA Network) – White Collar has replaced Fairly Legal as the show I watch On Demand while drinking my coffee on Saturday mornings. Expect rants.
Workaholics (Comedy Central) – Yup.
25 Greatest TV Characters of All Time (BIO) – I hope Manny from Modern Family is on this list just to see if Dustin burns down his whole neighborhood and ends up on CNN. Josh, you can write it up.
Chopped (Food Network) – Here is a quote from an interview Rick Ross did with Bon Appetit: “Dessert? Get you a honey bun and put a slice of cheese on it. Put it in the microwave for 45 seconds and you had the gift of a lifetime.” PUT THAT DUDE ON CHOPPED.
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Russell Brand and Olivia Munn on Kimmel; Roseanne Barr and Aubrey Plaza on Letterman; Cedric the Entertainer on Ferguson; Kate Beckinsale and Adam Carolla on Leno; Heidi Klum and Chris Colfer on Fallon; Victor Cruz on The Daily Show; Nas on Colbert; and Elijah Wood and a mixologist named Claire Smith on Conan.
