One thing you can take away from Margot Robbie’s Harry Potter fan photo is a solid knowledge that everybody has embarrassing photos in their past. Even the most incredible actresses on the planet can look like a geeky meme thanks to a childhood photo.
Thanks to one of her friends, we get to see this photo on Jimmy Kimmel Live and realize that Margot Robbie is the “Ermahgerd” girl in the flesh. The only difference is the cup of tea and the Harry Potter book instead of Goosebumps. It’s likely a better choice anyway, given the amount of lesser Goosebumps books out there. Nobody needs to read them all.
But yes, Margot Robbie was once a slicked back geek with braces and glasses she did not need, all in order to seem cool as a Harry Potter wannabe. Reminds me of the time a friend decided capes were coming back in style and he decided to wear one to school. Capes immediately went back out of style and I was forced to move to another lunch period.
Robbie grew out of it, of course, and she ditched the fake glasses. But she’s still apparently a Harry Potter fan, so maybe you have a chance. Go for it!
