So Martin Scorsese has probably had his share of wild adventures throughout his life. The man was notorious for his cocaine use in the 70s and 80s, so it’s no surprise that he tried quaaludes at some point. Legally I might add.
Here he is detailing on Conan how he used his own personal experiences to help ensure the scenes from The Wolf of Wall Street were true to life. It’s also funny how they hired a quaaludes expert to be on the set and coach the cast how to act when using the drug.
This all sort of feels a bit like a bunch of guys waving their precious drugs in my face though. It’s not like I’ve got the ability to try it or the funds to buy it today.
How am I going to have my fun, touchy, feely, huggy airplane experience? Down a bunch of iprupfrofen mixed with cough syrup? Mix some gasoline in a baby bottle and suck it?
