AMC picked the prime-est of times to give Breaking Bad fans their first look at Mike Ehrmantraut in Better Call Saul, airing the above teaser scene during the sure-to-be record-breaking The Walking Dead mid-season finale. The clip gives us a bit to look at, with Mike working as a no-nonsense parking attendant (what other kind would he be?) who doesn’t take kindly to Saul’s brash tactics.
But what it’s really going to do is incite all sorts of theorizing. How long was Mike a parking attendant? Was this a cover? Did he meet Saul Goodman before he met Gus Fring? Is his eye roll even finer than Liz Lemon’s? Feel free to debate. I’m too busy being excited.
