The last time thrusting squirrel Miley Cyrus hosted SNL was back in March 2011, when “Duh! Winning!” was a reference topical enough to make it to the cold open. That episode is notable for two reasons: 1) Seriously, “Duh! Winning!”? 2011 was awful, and 2) Miley wasn’t that bad. She made fun of Justin Bieber and danced in the always-enjoyable “Les Jeunes de Paris,” two of our favorite things. But Then Miley is very different from Now Miley, so I have no idea what to expect when she hosts the show this Saturday, except for four sketches involving twerking.
At least the writers got the issue of Miley’s tongue out of the way now.
No wonder she can stomach being around Robin Thicke’s thick must for more than 30 seconds. She just closes her mouth.
