The Reelz network aired Donald Trump’s Miss USA pageant last night, which seems like it was mostly uneventful until the Q&A portion, at least. Asking serious questions about current events to a bunch of models, whose primary purpose is to look nice wearing a swimsuit and heels, always seemed like a sadistic form of torture to me, and this year’s contest was no exception.
When Miss Nevada was asked what she would do to improve race relations in the U.S. and to please be specific, it did not go well. She starts out her answer by repeating the question, which is always a good sign of nailing it, and then says that she would “get more races grouped together, and be able to be with each other in a non- … let’s see…”
It only goes downhill from there. The video cuts off before the reaction from the panel, but we can only assume it was something along these lines:
