Netflix is great at looking over all the statistics from its millions of users and determining what we want to see more of, and that’s leading to another great upcoming original series involving the M7 Build Team from Mythbusters. Hardworking grunts Grant Imahara, Tory Belleci, and Kari Byron left Mythbusters in its final season over failed salary negotiations. Now they’ll get to head up their own show called The White Rabbit Project in December.
The build team is coming back together! @ToryBelleci, @KariByron, @grantimahara on a @netflix original: #TheWhiteRabbitProject coming Dec 9!

The three revealed the show during a panel at Dragon*Con, and isn’t it nice to know we’ll be rolling in an entire season’s worth of episodes very soon? According to folks lucky enough to attend the announcement, the show is being described as ‘Mythbusters in Wonderland’ where they’ll ‘go down the rabbit hole on the internet’ exploring various interesting topics they find online.
This will often involve their own Mythbusters style experiments, and a Dragon*Con clip showed Tory’s arm hooked into a sea of wires that allowed Kari to move it via remote control. It’s going to be exciting getting to see what the three can do with their own show, especially with the added bonus that they all actually like working with each other.
