Naked and Afraid is a Discovery Channel show wherein participants are left in the remote wilderness with no food, clothing or water for three weeks. It’s a big hit because we as a society enjoy watching the suffering of others. And next month’s season premiere promises just that. Specifically, vagina suffering inflicted by mosquitoes.
Entertainment Weekly has a clip from April 19th’s season two premiere featuring one woman’s attempt to protect her most delicate parts with whatever minimal resources she has. “I created my own grass skirt so I could cover my vagina so that the mosquitoes don’t eat me alive.”
Look, I’m all for nature. But the possibility of vaginal welts tends to be a dealbreaker in most situations.
This is not the first time Naked and Afraid participants have faced nether assaults from insects. This clip from last season has a man suffering from “fire ants biting the sh*t out of my butthole” and a woman dealing with mosquitoes “eating my vajayjay alive.”
