As we enter 2016, The Walking Dead fans anticipate the arrival of a new character who may very much dominate the series this year, both in season six, season seven, and perhaps beyond. Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, will make his debut later this year.
The Walking Dead showrunner, Scott Gimple, recently had this to say about the character, via TVLine:
“In my opinion, The Governor is more despicable and damaged. Negan is terrifying in that he isn’t a psychopath. He’s charismatic and funny. And even sort of friendly. But he just kills, and it doesn’t bother him. He’s the star of his own movie and we’re all Red Shirts. He’s not nuts. But you can’t reason with him because he’s got it all worked out. He knows exactly the way the world works. And he’s the one in control. Negan also has a bizarre sense of empathy. He actually recognizes your bad luck in you running into him, yet it doesn’t change a damn thing.”
Does that description remind us of anyone? Because it reminded me of someone, and this is exactly why I’m so excited about seeing Negan on The Walking Dead this season.

… and funny…

Does that character description ring any bells?
Because, to me, Negan sounds an awful lot like Walter White.
The Walking Dead returns on Valentine’s Day.
