Norm Macdonald is back on television, throwing shade at Seth Meyers, telling SNL stories, playing awkward charades with Steve Higgins, and telling one of the best Johnny Carson stories you’ll probably ever hear. Just typical Norm.
Macdonald broke his rule of not appearing on any New York based shows other than David Letterman by appearing with prom king Jimmy Fallon as a bit of synergy for the new season of Last Comic Standing. Not only did he manage to throw some shade on the contract he signed to appear on the show, he also took some slight knocks against Seth Meyers (not as bad as when he was on Huffington Post). Then came the charades and more masturbation humor.
Later we got some more talk about Last Comic Standing, but we also got Norm’s impression of Johnny Carson calling 911 after a heart attack. It’s damn fine, only hurt by Jimmy Fallon’s constant laughter throughout.
