It’s gotten a little heavy around here this week. It’s only Wednesday, and we’ve already touched on issues like racial diversity, political bias in entertainment, and television’s influence on important social issues. For the most part, this is just the way the TV news has worked out over the last couple days, but I do think these are all discussion that are worth having. That said, I suppose this would be a good time for us all to take a step back and focus on something a little lighter and less controversial — like, for example, “Community” star Alison Brie performing a cover of “Rich Girl” by Hall & Oates. It might also be a good opportunity for me to type a bunch of words like ALISON BRIE HOT LEGS SHORT DRESS STAGE GIRLS HALL OATES PERFORMANCE COMMUNITY CANCELED MAYBE MAD MEN RABBITS PLAYING TENNIS AVENGERS DARK KNIGHT SPOILERS FREE BEER TEBOW and let the pageviews roll in for a little while. I think that would be the prudent thing to do.
