As if tomorrow night’s Parks and Recreation finale wasn’t already going to be emotional enough, the series is going to finish out by paying tribute to executive producer Harris Wittels. Last week the Parks and Recreation family lost one of their own when Wittels tragically and unexpectedly passed away at the age of 30. Deadline reports that as the finale fades to black, the series finale will end with a “We Love You, Harris” message from the cast and crew.
I’m getting choked up just thinking about it. If you haven’t read Aziz Ansari’s moving and funny tribute to his friend, please do so now so that you can fully understand what an asset he was to both Parks and Recreation and comedy in general. He will be missed.
