Despite actively throwing his Grammy competition under the bus back in December, Patton Oswalt has now changed in tune in reference to one of his fellow nominees. Near the tail end of his recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the topic of the Grammy Awards came up and Oswalt said he is actively campaigning for UPROXX person of the year ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic to win the award. That’s high praise and respect.
He also went on and on about the proper way to watch the Star Wars trilogy, citing the machete order viewing method for George Lucas science fiction saga. Something that makes a whole lot of sense once you read up on it, but I’m a little hard pressed to call anything about Episode II an emotional experience. Maybe if they chained you into a room and forced you to watch it.
