Warning: Spoilers for Season 4 of Orange Is the New Black ahead
If you’re like a lot of people, you probably spent last weekend binge-watching the long-awaited season 4 of Orange Is the New Black. And if you watched the entire season you’re probably still upset, crying, and sending show creator Jenji Kohan hate mail for what happened to Litchfield’s most adorable inmate Poussey Washington played by Samira Wiley. Everything was looking great for the popular character, she had a cute girlfriend and Martha Stewart wannabe Judy King was going to hook Poussey up with a job when she got out of prison. Instead, Poussey died during a prison riot where an unexperienced corrections officer pushed her to the ground causing the petite Poussey to stop breathing.
Despite not returning to Litchfield for season 5, Wiley has found a ‘new life’ or rather a new acting gig on FXX’s comedy-drama You’re the Worst. According to Vulture, Wiley has signed on for five episodes to play a young LA therapist named Justina who will work with Gretchen Cutler (Aya Cash) to help “dip her toe into the waters of mental health.” But Justine has her own issues too. Apparently, Wiley’s new character has a bit of an addiction to social media, specifically Foursquare and has a boyfriend who is a bit on the lazy side. Last year, You’re the Worst was renewed for a third season. Season 3 will debut on the cable network this August. This will be Wiley’s first major role since debuting on OITNB back in 2013.
