It’s not that Peter Dinklage hasn’t shown some skin on Game of Thrones. It is Game of Thrones, after all. (In a Reddit AMA, Dinklage said “that at the end of the work day, since it’s very hot [in Dubrovnik] and we’re in these hot costumes, some of us rip off our clothes and just jump right into the sea.”) But he hasn’t bared the male equivalency of “tits and dragons” as often as other cast members. But on SNL, Dinklage finally got his naked spotlight.
In “Naked and Afraid: Celebrity Edition,” Dinklage hits the woods, sans clothing, with Leslie Jones, who takes an immediate liking to that “tasty morsel” (even if she always calls him “Tyrion”). She compliments his junk, saves his life by grabbing his junk, and, well, she’s mostly interested in Dinklage’s junk. And eating him, with a splash of Frank’s RedHot on his shoulder. It’s a funny spoof of an already-ridiculous show (I wonder if Naked and Afraid‘s “blur editor” did some freelance work for SNL), and after surviving 21 days in the wild with the Ghostbusters star, “a feat no man has ever achieved,” Dinklage feels like he’s able to accomplish anything. If you can get Naked and Afraid with Leslie Jones, you can win the Game of Thrones.
