Star Wars: Rogue One told the doomed story of the heroes who smuggled information that led to the plot that blew up the Death Star in what amounted to a prequel to the original 1977 film.
But as it turns out Disney is not done with the characters who made the movie so great. Disney has revealed its streaming service will be called Disney+, and on Thrusday it announced a few titles the company is working on to get consumers excited about their new product. One of those is a Star Wars product that will bring back one of Rogue One’s most beloved characters.
Cassian Andor, who helped the rebels and saved the day in the movie, will get his own live-action show on Disney+.

Diego Luna will reprise the role of Andor from the 2016 film. And it sounds like Luna is thrilled to be back in the Star Wars universe.
“Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me,” Luna said in a Disney release. “I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply.”
There aren’t many details about the show, but Disney said that there will be space swashbuckling, so that’s exciting.
The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.
There’s no release date for the show just yet, but more details about the cast and when we’ll get to see the results of the show soon enough.
