Kurt Sutter’s Twitter has been quiet lately. For him, at least. The Sons of Anarchy creator hasn’t been picking fights, or calling anyone nasty words, or doing both while listening to a 17-hour acoustic version of “Greensleeves.” That’s because Sutter’s been busy working on his new series, The Bastard Executioner, which FX announced the cast of today. Production for the pilot begins in March in Wales, where “a warrior knight in King Edward I’s charge who is broken by the ravages of war… vows to lay down his sword. But when that violence finds him again, he is forced to pick up the bloodiest sword of all.” His penis…?
Good news for people who loved Vampire Bill’s accents on True Blood.

The press release also notes that although Matthew Rhys will guest star, it won’t “change his lead position in The Americans.” We know Philip’s a whiz with teeth, but can he fix tongues?
