Jon Stewart and The Daily Show held the 2015 ‘Mercun Awards last night, which celebrates the best and brightest America has to offer. Judged by Jessica Williams and Samantha Bee, the contenders included Guy Who Shot His Gun Off in Church on Easter, Guy Who Burned His Face on Fajitas Praying at Applebees, and Guy Who Shot His Mother-in-Law Trying to Shoot an Armadillo, or, as Bee says, “If a man can’t get away with plugging his mother-in-law in the back through the wall of her trailer and then blaming a dead varmint, we might as well just take the constitution and just flush it down the toilet.”
Which one goes on to win the coveted “Lady Liberty Driving a Monster Truck with Pizza Wheels on Top of Mount Rushmore” perfect score? You’ll have to watch to find out!
