You know the Netflix comedy series The Ranch that you probably haven’t watched yet because you’ve been too busy marathoning other comedies that were more important this month? Well, maybe it’s time to start watching the first half of season one, because Netflix has already ordered season 2. The Ranch, which stars Ashton Kutcher, fellow That 70s Show pal Danny Masterson, and everyone’s favorite beer commercial voice actor, Sam Elliott, is about an ex-semipro Canadian football player (Kutcher) who goes back to his Colorado town after an incident involving a Wayne Gretzky ice sculpture and moves in with his right-winger father (Elliott) and his brother named Rooster (Masterson).

The trio announced the second season which will be available on Netflix in 2017 in a video that was tweeted by Kutcher. They also mentioned that the second half of season one will be available to stream later this year. The first half of season one was actually better than many expected, so a binge may be in order if you haven’t seen it.
The Ranch just made its debut on April, 1 so for Netflix to renew the multicamera comedy that is a throwback to network sitcoms of the ’80s and ’90s this quickly they must have a lot of faith in it.
