John Oliver was off this week, but rather than leave the world empty-handed and without a bespectacled Brit’s take on the news of the day, he has again released a short web exclusive to hold us over. Last week he took on piñatas and the bombastic headlines that tend to accompany his segments online (guilty), and this week he’s responding to fan mail. But by “fan mail” he means “YouTube comments under the videos of the huge 15-minute pieces that he and HBO have been providing for free.”
It’s pretty great, as you can probably imagine. I won’t spoil it for you any more than I did with the headline. Which, for the record, gets no argument from me. This guy is pretty frickin’ brillent.
