If you’re still reeling from Sunday’s stunning episode of Game of Thrones, this mashup of the White Walkers with Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” might make that last scene a little less creepy, or even more creepy, depending on your point of view.
“Hardhome” has already gotten some pretty hilarious mashups, like this one with the Curb Your Enthusiasm music, and the Sand Snakes storyline matched up surprisingly well with the Seinfeld music and laugh track. However, watching the Night’s King stare down Jon Snow as thousands of White Walkers rise up on the shore is eerie and gives new meaning to the “Thriller” lyrics:
And whosoever shall be found
Without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of hell
And rot inside a corpse’s shell
The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom
And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
Whoo, did it just get chilly in here? I’m feeling some goosebumps.
