Neal Brennan stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers last night, and the Chappelle’s Show co-creator (and friend of UPROXX) offered a telling update on the health of Tracy Morgan, who is still very much recovering from that awful six-vehicle crash that took the life of comedian Jimmy Mack.
It’s been a few weeks since Morgan returned home, and he still faces an uphill battle on the physical side. But Brennan talked to Morgan on the phone earlier this week and came away from the conversation confident in his mental state:
“He was like, ‘Neal, the outpouring of love was unbelievable. The people that reached out to me: Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J, the president.’ The fact that Tracy put LL Cool J and Busta Rhymes above the president let’s me know that Tracy is back.”
