On July 17th, a man named Eric Garner was put in a chokehold during an arrest by New York City police officer Daniel Pantaleo. He repeatedly told Pantaleo (and other officers) that he couldn’t breathe. Minutes later Garner was dead, killed by compression of the neck and chest. It was sad and it was tragic.
Last night, WPIX was reporting about the grand jury’s decision to not indict Pantaleo when they cut to a shot of Allison Kaden in the streets of midtown Manhattan. That’s when two people walked in the background of her live shot and reenacted Garner’s death.
The stupidity here speaks for itself.
