As we know, nothing is true in the entertainment industry until it comes from the talk show host’s mouth, and as the news started running wild on the Twitters and the rest of the web that David Letterman is retiring from The Late Show in 2015, some of us still wanted to hear it come straight from him. Naturally, with the cat already out of the bag, CBS released the clip, and here is Letterman telling his crowd with his trademark grin and dry charm that he will indeed retire at some point next year.
