Paul Feig has obviously remained busy since Freaks and Geeks went off the air in 2000. He directed a ton of episodes of The Office and Arrested Development, produced the new Peanuts movie, and best of all, he ruined the childhoods of Ghostbusters fans who take pop culture way too seriously. All in all, I’d say it’s been a pretty good 15 years for Feig, and he’s now returning to television (sort of) as a creator for the first time since Lindsay Weir followed the Grateful Dead.
Other Space is a Yahoo original series about a ragtag team of misfits, including Karan Soni, Neil Casey, Joel Hodgson and Trace Beaulieu (MST3K reunion!) and Milana Vayntrub (also known as Lily), in outer space. Also, there’s a talking robot.
See, this is why network television is dying: not enough talking robots.
