The Americans (FX, 10:00 p.m.) — We’d say you could cut the tension with a knife, but Keri Russell would probably prefer you just use a silencer and pull the trigger. The Americans returns for a highly anticipated — and critically renowned — fourth season.
Hap and Leonard (Sundance, 10:00 p.m.) — Things get a little tense at Leonard’s house as the long arm of the law starts creeping into town.
Broad City (Comedy Central, 10:00 p.m.) — The girls straight up lose their ish when they meet Hillary Clinton at her campaign office.
The Middle (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) — Getting your wisdom teeth out is a weird roll of the dice. Like, I got mine out, took a quick nap to sleep off the anesthesia, then went out for pizza with friends and went to a high school football game. My best friend got his out and swelled up like Will Smith in Hitch and missed a week of school. Either way, Frankie’s ready to take care of Sue and Axl after they get theirs out.
Survivor (CBS, 8:00 p.m.) — Remember when the teacher would let you pick your own partners for group projects and you looked around and realized you weren’t friends enough with anyone in the class to actually belong to a group? That, but for adults.
Rosewood (FOX, 8:00 p.m.) — A dentist who ran a drug ring for people in the ‘burbs turns up dead, so Villa has to work with a new partner to find out who killed Rosewood‘s version of Nancy Botwin.
The Goldbergs (ABC, 8:30 p.m.) — Way back before you had to sign up for a free TIDAL membership and then remember to cancel it in order to hear your favorite new albums, you probably used to be a member of some mail-order service that offered a billion cassette tapes and CDs for a low monthly price. Adam’s got a plan to scam one of those services out of a bunch of tapes in a quest to hoard all of the music his little heart desires.
Criminal Minds (CBS, 9:00 p.m.) — Hide your kids ’cause someone in Wichita is snatchin’ ’em up.
Modern Family (ABC, 9:00 p.m.) — Jay violates the first rule of being a YouTube star when he starts feeding the trolls, and Phil is busy pretending his new client isn’t, like, incredibly attractive.
Black-ish (ABC, 9:30 p.m.) — Much like Chris Rock, Junior becomes a zebra with no chill when he starts refereeing basketball.
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (CBS, 10:00 p.m.) — Just like the Criminal Minds you’ve had on in the background while you iron for the past decade, ‘cept with a little sprinkle of Homeland and a lot more Gary Sinese.
Nashville (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) — Deacon goes full Kanye on some paparazzi who crash he and Rayna’s rehearsal dinner in the spring premiere of Nashville.
