What’s On Tonight: ‘The Americans’ Goes Out With A Bang

The Americans (FX, 10:00 p.m.) — Season four ends with Paige considering taking up her family’s line of work and Elizabeth and Philip racing to beat the FBI to a mysterious package.

Wayward Pines (Fox, 9:00 p.m.) — Flashbacks are coming. Tonight we learn why Jason Higgins was chosen as the leader and favored child of Wayward Pines. Oh and Melissa Leo, a.k.a. creepy, unpredictable Nurse Pam is back and making the rounds. While she’s busy posing a deadly threat to the town, Theo digs into his past to discover why he was chosen to join the community.

2016 CMT Music Awards (TV Land, 8:00 p.m.) — Erin Andrews and the Texans’ J.J. Watts host this celebration of country music from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. All the big names are set to perform, including Jason Aldean; Luke Bryan; Keith Urban; Blake Shelton; Chris Stapleton; and, oddly enough, pop girl group Fifth Harmony. Whoever’s in charge of scheduling must be having a laugh right now.

American Ninja Warrior (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) — Competitors in Atlanta take on strange, vaguely-named obstacles like Floating Steps, Block Run and Pipe Fitter.

Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) — Jimmy Kimmel has a little fun with the cast of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot — who have had enough of your misogynistic bullsh*t.

MasterChef (Fox, 8:00 p.m.) — We’ve made it to part two of the season seven premiere and those forty home cooks are still serving up dishes in the hopes of getting their very own cookbook.

Young & Hungry (Freeform, 8:00 p.m.) — Josh heads to Hawaii to see what’s up with Gabi’s fake husband when the trio become marooned on the island thanks to a surprise hurricane. Ah, sitcoms. Gotta love ’em.

Baby Daddy (Freeform, 8:30 p.m.) — Ben donates his sperm, then remembers an actual couple will be using it to have a real live baby and has second thoughts.

NBA Finals: Game 3: Warriors at Cavaliers (ABC, 9:00 p.m.) — The Warriors head to Cleveland for Game 3 of the championship series. Hopefully LeBron James and the Cavs can man up and give us a decent basketball game to watch instead of the slaughter that’s taken place in the past two face-offs.

Maron (IFC, 9:00 p.m.) — Marc readies for a wild weekend with his newly sober friend Bobby Mendez.

Royal Pains (USA, 10:00 p.m.) — We’ve hit the 100 episode mark and the show’s celebrating by having Hank return to the E.R. for the first time in years. Let’s see if he can handle the pressure of a high-stakes quarantine situation.

The Night Shift (NBC, 10:00 p.m.) — The conclusion of the two-part season three premiere sees TC and Scott fighting to save a mother and son involved in a car accident while Drew and Syd face the aftermath of an OR shooting in Afghanistan.

Cleverman (Sundance, 10:00 p.m.) — If you haven’t started tuning in to Sundance’s sci-fi show Cleverman, we’ve got a whole bunch of reasons why you should (aboriginal legends, superhero stuff, a mainly indigenous cast, Iain Glen from Game of Thrones just to name a few). Tonight, Koen heads into The Zone to find answers concerning his newly acquired powers and Aunty Linda realizes a new Cleverman has been chosen.
