Back in April, we brought you the news that Taco Bell was strongly considering the possibility of launching a delivery service; they just had to figure out how the hell to make it happen. Well, that didn’t take long because, just three months later, the dream is now a reality: Starting today, select lucky Americans have the option to have their favorite Gorditas and Crunchwrap Supremes sent right to their door, according to Eater.
Delivery is available today to Taco Bell fans in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Dallas, Texas — and in a total of 90 cities surrounding each metropolitan area. The partnership with DoorDash — an app based out of Palo Alto — means Taco Bell’s delivery options could expand to all of the cities currently serviced by the app, including Silicon Valley, Orange County, Chicago, Washington D.C., New York City, and Boston.
There’s no timeline as to when Taco Bell delivery might expand to those other markets — and beyond that, nationwide — as of yet, but I have no doubt that it won’t take them long to figure out. I mean, these are the people who made milk-icing stuffed Cap’n Crunch Crunch Berries donut holes a reality for millions of Americans. There’s nothing this plucky fast food chain can’t accomplish.
