The 10 Most Inconsistent NBA Players

Last Friday night I got a call from my dad, frantic about “this unbelievable center who plays for the Wizards, and is giving the Lakers a ton of problems.” I wasn’t watching the game, but I figured that he was talking about JaVale McGee, as the rookie has showed a ton of upside recently – at least before Ed Tapscott took over.

But he was actually referring to Andray Blatche, who was a key part of the Wizards comeback – bringing a 99-83 gap to a 1-point deficit under a minute to play. Blatche posted a double-double (18 points, 12 boards) and sunk a three in Washington’s losing effort.

How frustrating does that have to be for the Wizards’ brass? They can see that there’s some serious talent here, but Blatche is wildly inconsistent. He had a 25-point, 12-board game against Golden State in November, but has also posted 7 points or less in 11 outings thus far this season.

That’s good enough to make Andray one of the most inconsistent players in the League. Actually, he could be number one. If you don’t think that Andray is the one, here are nine other names to consider:

* Andray Blatche
* Andrea Bargnani
* Larry Hughes
* Charlie V
* Tyson Chandler
* Lou Williams
* Hakim Warrick
* Raymond Felton
* Rafer Alston
* Rashad McCants
