Can Four Rotors and Bare Circuits Be Adorable?

Generally we associate the world “adorable” with children, which our brains are designed to think are cute so we don’t murder them for their behavior, and small creatures covered in fur, but this quadrocopter might just qualify.
It’s called the CrazyFlie, and it’s from Daedalus Projects, who…well…wanted to make a tiny flying robot. And, obviously, they succeeded pretty well, since that’s exactly what they made, mostly doing the code on Linux and Windows.
Particularly impressive is how they stripped it down in terms of hardware: the telemetry is handled by the computer you control the CrazyFlie through, for example. The precision and control is also pretty neat: you can fly this thing through an obstacle course with a gamepad.
The whole thing weighs about 20 grams and is about two inches across.
But, you’re wondering…how does it look while it’s flying?
