And here you thought The Flash was going to coast until sweeps and Robbie Amell’s upcoming spoiler. Nope! They’re bringing back the Reverse Flash, not to mention Joe’s tactiltoque, right when Barry really could use a break!
How, precisely, they’ll bring back a character who, um, sorta ceased to exist in the last season is a good question, but he’s back, he’s angry, and he’s probably going to hit Barry a million times a second. The main question will be how Earth-2 Wells deals with the guy who killed his alternate reality counterpart, and how the rest of the team will deal with Cisco’s high, piercing scream. C’mon, man. You’ve got a great singing voice. Give that shriek some bass. We’ll see how he does tonight at 8 p.m. on the CW.
Meanwhile, in Los Angeles after World War II:
You know when they taser Ray Wise, it’s a party. Anyway, Peggy, in the first two episodes, met up with Jason Wilkes, a scientist who turns out to know a lot about Zero Matter, the weird stuff that serves as this season’s MacGuffin, but unfortunately is seemingly eaten by Zero Matter at the end of the second episode. Then again, so was our big bad this season, and she appears to be doing just fine in this trailer. We’re going to assume that the blue-lit hell dimension Simmons was sucked into over on Agents of SHIELD is going to have something to do with all this. Oh, also, Dominic Cooper is back as Howard Stark, because Peggy didn’t have enough problems. That’s on ABC tonight at 9 p.m.
